My love for flowers is deep seated from the time I spent with my dad working in his garden. I didn't care for it much then, but I have grown to admire God's creative hand in all the plants he created. My parents had a yard not much bigger than a postage stamp, but Dad grew e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Roses, daffodils, tulips, perennials, strawberries, tomatoes, and so much more.
Over the years, I have had my own gardens. My husband and I have lived in Ohio, Nevada, and Tennessee. Each area having its own unique characteristics and problems when growing anything. If you look in my archive of posts under "Life Began in a Garden," you'll see my many posts about gardening.
I hope you enjoy them.
